As part of the safety campaign, UTS Traffic Safety Inspectors organised classes with students in gymnasium No. 2 and school No. 15 in Vyshny Volochyok, Novgorod region. At the lessons, children gained important skills of safe behavior on a high-speed road and at emergency stop.
UTS experts told schoolchildren about the difference of road and highway, mentioned different dangerous situations that can happen during the car travel and how to avoid them. Traffic Safety Inspectors also showed the content of their van to children.
During the lesson, the children were able to try themselves in the role of safety specialists – they were watching famous cartoons and trying to find traffic violations there. In the result all children participated in the event were given very useful gifts from UTS – flickers that allow children stay visible even in darkness.
