Recently, on social media there have begun to appear ads proposing to purchase an "unlimited" transponder. It allegedly allows you to travel free of charge on all toll roads in Russia for several years.
UTS warns, unlimited transponders do not exist! These ads are deceptive and published by fraudsters.
Remember that any real transponder is personalized, i.e., tied to a personal account from which funds are debited when passing through toll road sections. The device purchased from fraudsters cannot be personalized, the balance on it cannot be checked either. It is linked to a fictitious account, which has a small amount of money to pay for several trips. Later, when the money runs out, trips with this device cannot be paid.
We strongly recommend buying transponders (T-Pass / M11: 15-58) only in points sales or through official online stores. Beware of buying transponders from unofficial agents, they can be fraudsters.
