More than 200 thousand cars passed via the new road section during the first week of its operation: 74% were light vehicles, 18% were heavy trucks.
“The new site is in great demand among the population, especially now in summer. 60% of all cars drove towards Rostov-on-Don, most likely to the Black Sea. The fact that more and more drivers are starting to understand the benefits of transponder usage is bringing joy, as it helps the drivers to save both – money and time,” said Sergey Kurbatov, UTS Operations and Asset Director of M4 Don highway.
There are also 3 UTS TSI crews on the new section of 636 – 715 km. They provide free assistance to all drivers who got into trouble on the road. During the first week of operation, traffic safety inspectors have already helped more than 100 motorists.
In case of emergency, please call free number of UTS TSI service *2044 on M4 highway, *2033 on M3 and *2011 on M11.
