On September 3, 2019 a new section of M11 Moscow – St. Petersburg at 543-646 km has been commissioned. The highway concessionaire is Two Capitals Highway LLC, the operator – Northern Highway Management LLC.
The new M11 section runs from Myasnoy Bor village in the Novgorod region (543 km) to Tosno city in the Leningrad region (646 km). It is supposed to become an important site of Saint Petersburg transport hub aimed at traffic redistribution, which will provide trans-regional connection, starting at M10 Russia highway interchange. Toll Plazas of closed type are located at the beginning and end of the section.
The annual traffic intensity on the new M11 site is expected within the range of 21-26 thousand vehicles for the first three years of operation.
