Hitting a barrier threatens drivers with a revocation of rights

Due to the increasing number of calls to the network regarding the violation of toll section rules, UTS would like to remind you that intentionally avoiding payment at the toll plaza for travel and hitting the barrier is a violation according paragraphs 2.5 and 2.6.1 of the Traffic Regulations.

A damaged barrier is considered by the court to be a traffic accident. Therefore, if a driver flees from the site of the accident, his/her actions fall under Art. 12.27 of the Code of Administrative Offences. This threatens the user with revocation of his/her driver’s license for a period of up to 1.5 years or administrative arrest for 15 days.

Unfortunately, such precedents have already occurred with several road users despite our reminders. Last case occurred recently on toll plaza 545 km of M11 Moscow - St.Petersburg Highway and the violator was deprived their driver's license for 1.5 years.

Please follow the rules of the road and travel in comfort!
