Speed mode increase on M11 Neva

In June 2021, on two M11 Neva toll sections at once – from 59 to 146 km in Moscow and Tver regions and from 546 to 680 km in Novgorod and Leningrad regions – the permitted speed limit is planned to be increased to 130 km/h.

This became possible due to the lack of pedestrian crossings and one-level intersections with other roads, high technical equipment of the highway owing to installed CCTV cameras, transport detectors, an incident detection system and weather stations.

Thus, drivers of light vehicles will soon be able to drive a total of 571 km of highway with the maximum permitted speed.
