From January 2, a toll for travel on MSD is introduced

From January 2, 2023, a toll for travel on the Moscow High-Speed Diameter (MSD) is introduced for transit cars. The passage is considered transit if the car crossed the borders of the Central Ring Road of Moscow (TsKAD) twice in any place within 24 hours and drove along the Moscow High-Speed Diameter (MSD), and no more than 2 hours passed between the entry and exit of the car from the MSD. Entry and exit to the Central Ring Road and MSD will be recorded using CCTV cameras.

Travel on MSD will remain free for cars with numbers of Moscow and the Moscow Region, public transport, taxis with a permit for transportation in Moscow and the Moscow Region, as well as special vehicles. Trucks are not allowed to travel on MSD, except for vehicles with passes.

The single fare on the MSD for transit transport is 950 rubles and is valid for drivers of cars of any category from the regions (except Moscow and the Moscow region).

Tolls will be collected using a barrier-free "free flow" system. You can pay for travel on MSD through the Parking of Russia application, on the website https://msd.mos.ru/ or with any transponder for toll roads.
